Carolyn Nugent Gorczynski
Carolyn focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and business law.
Prior to joining Watson Bennett, Carolyn began her practice at Drew & Drew LLP. While serving as an associate for Drew & Drew, LLP, Carolyn single-handedly developed an education law practice area, representing parents, on behalf of their children, in special education, discipline, and general education matters, as well as representing teachers, school staff and administrators with respect to various employment matters. In addition to practicing in Watson Bennett’s Corporate Department, Carolyn will continue to practice Education Law.
Carolyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canisius College in 2002, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Dual Degree in Political Science and History. Carolyn graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 2005, obtaining her Juris Doctor.
Carolyn volunteers her time to various agencies that serve the disabled community, including Agape Parent Fellowship, Inc., Heritage Centers, Autistic Services of WNY and Danceability, Inc. Carolyn also serves as a mentor with the SUNY Buffalo School of Law mentoring program.
Carolyn is an avid distance runner, a member of Checkers A.C. running club, a founding member of the VM Project running team, and volunteers with the SUNY Buffalo Cross-Country and Track programs.
