James H. Cantrell
James H. Cantrell is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law practice group and focuses his practice in the areas of private equity and hedge funds, general corporate and business law, real estate, banking and capital markets.
Mr. Cantrell began his practice in the structured finance department of a large firm in New York City, working on collateralized debt obligations and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cantrell practiced in Rochester focusing on fund, structured finance, corporate and real estate transactions.
In over a decade of practice, Mr. Cantrell has represented parties on hundreds of transactions ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to ten billion dollars.
